Tripoda/Madrelarva split CS
Clear cassette, and j-card in clear case.
The sounds of devastation are conveyed in many forms: anxious jitter-rhythms, crushing heaviness, bleak dirge and decay. Yet few are as varied and vivid as those conjured by the double threat of arcane Spanish synth wizards, each matching and challenging the other in color, scope, and emotion on opposite sides of a C40. Tripoda holds true to the project’s dungeon-grown roots with dark neoclassical swells and funereal chromatic resolutions, gradually laying groundwork for Madrelarva’s hallucinatory cocktail of poisonous swamp psychedelia. Foils in some ways, allies in others.
