Originating in pummeling mono before blooming into dense, red-zoned harsh electronics that rival even Hypoxyphilia in raw intensity, Puta Escòria Inmunda notches a new benchmark for Soma, one of several relatively new projects from Catalonia’s David López Saludes. As hypnotizing as it is brutal, the C32 culminates with “Al Final Tot Acaba” (fittingly, “In the End Everything Ends”), a true scorcher designed to melt face and char skull.
