It's from these lush fields that Serpent Dome harvests his raw, elemental electronics, ritual artifacts and all, the stripped-down drones and throbbing oscillations remaining unruly and mineral-rich even as they stumble and stagnate on unfamiliar ground. Juniper and Flesh comprises more than an hour’s worth of minimal psychedelia spread across this sun-drenched landscape, each extended Roman-numeraled piece at once sustained and sprawling, claustrophobic and colossal.
