A Scent Like Blood Tastes – Cisterns of Sacrifice CS

At first blush, CISTERNS OF SACRIFICE seems to be all downtime, a simmering black cauldron that never quite boils over. But in this case, the reticence is in fact not in the interest of dynamic buildup or escalation, but rather decay and disintegration: this is the whimpering battleground after the battle; the deathbed after the final breaths; the blood-soaked shrine after the murderous ritual. Broken mandibles and desecrated faith chattering into the pestilent nothingness. Listen for the little things—they’re all that's left.
